Seattle refuses to use salt; roads “snow packed” by design

This is my hill. Road still closed. Day 4. The city is trapping me.

Now I’m a pretty big lefty who enjoys taking care of the environment, but when something like this happens, every decade or so, you can’t tell me using a little salt on the main bad hill streets is going to ruin things forever. Just not gonna happen.
