STORM ALERT 2004!!City in Panic! OK, not really. Actually it's pretty mellow -- lots of people stayed home. And since I can work from home, well....the decision was eaaaasy :) 'bout time people had some sense. I have 4 inches of snow at my house right now -- some areas reportedly getting a foot or more! Here's a photo of me on my sidewalk -- I had to go to the store, so I walked, of course. Here's a few more photos... See the special "The Trash Is Taken Out" edition here!
(neighbors got evicted) The Fly-In is Over!!!
Every year I subject myself to the Arlington Fly-In, volunteering as Headquarters chairman. This year marked 10 years (a decade!) of my service. Glutton for punishment? Yes. ![]() Me and Betty (my co-chair) coping with the stress ![]() The crazy, hard-core volunteers at the Fly-In

HOLY #%@! BATMAN!
I Bought a House! ![]()
I did it. I bought a house. Not much else can be said! Above is a photo of it. Over there is a photo of me and Sandra Cohen, my FABULOUS agent, who found me the best house and negotiated an incredible price. Now I have to move by the end of the year! PROOF Natty-pants in Seattle!!!
My friend Natalie and I were joined once again, fighting the evil forces of spiked mullets and the mafia. Four FULL days we terrorized the city, giving nuisance a new name. From Bumbershoot (we saw and listened to a bunch of cool bands including Everclear. Even found a folk group that I fell in love with -- I'm getting their CD. Who knew!) to Bumber"garden" (we visited all the beer gardens...very nice...the clown one was the best, followed by the Tiki lounge). The weather was MUCH better than this photo looks for much of the weekend. It was actually perfect Seattle Summer/Fall transition weather. Lots of Sun, but some clouds, a little drizzle and one all-out rain. We got sunburned we were out so much.
That ain't clothes she's wearing...
Every year at the Solstice the crazy people of Freemont throw a party and parade. This was the first year I'd been able to get to this Seattle tradition and was not dissapointed. More pics...
You know it's hot when your balls hang low...
![]() Today it hit 93 degrees. This, well, sucks. If I wanted heat I would have stayed in California! Here is my Gallileo thermometer protesting the heat by sending all the balls to the bottom. Never seen that before!
